The AquaSkim 40 pond skimmer is a high performance pond surface suction skimmer that requires connection to a pump via a length of flexible pipe. The Oase Aquamax Eco Premium Pumps are ideal for operating this skimmer as these feature a secondary inlet allowing suction to be split between the pump and the surface skimmer when feeding a pond filter system.
The large base can be weighted with stones and the telescopic 2 part riser will allow for height adjustment from 550mm (21") to 800mm (31").
The AquaSkim 40 features a 1.4 litre debris basket with a hook ring for access out in the pond. The floating tube sleeve will allow for a depth fluctuation of up to 120mm without affecting the skimmer performance.
This skimmer will cover a pond surface up to 40m² and can accept up to 16000 litres of water per hour, but requires a minimum flow rate of 8000 litres per hour to operate effectively.
